Washing method: Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle (max. 30°C).
Pre-wash preparation: Before placing the rug in the drum, remove excess hair and surface dirt with a stiff brush. Fasten all straps and Velcro closures to prevent the mesh from snagging or becoming damaged during the spin cycle.
Detergents: Use a mild soap or a detergent specifically designed for horse rugs. Do not bleach or use harsh chemical additives that could damage the synthetic mesh fibers.
Drying: Do not tumble dry. Hang the rug outdoors and allow it to air dry naturally, away from direct heat sources. The mesh fabric is quick-drying and will be ready for use again in no time.
Ironing and dry cleaning: Do not iron (the heat from the iron would melt the synthetic fibers) and do not dry clean.
